SwampCon Coordinator Shadowing Program

As a part of our mission to improve our convention experience that we provide to attendees every year, we’d like to invite you to join the SwampCon Coordinator team through our Shadowing program!

  • All applicants must be enrolled as students at the University of Florida. Applicants who are not currently enrolled or incoming freshmen (Class of 2029) will be immediately rejected.

  • Being a part of the SwampCon team as a Coordinator or Shadow is an unpaid position.

  • We will contact you within a week of receiving your application for the SwampCon Shadow Program to update you on your status. These updates may include additional meetings or interviews in order to determine eligibility for joining the SwampCon Shadow Program.

  • Applications will be assessed on a first-come first-serve basis. If you apply for a position where a final candidate has already been determined, we will update you within a week of your application submission about the status of the position(s) applied for.

  • Being a part of the SwampCon team requires a hefty time and energy commitment. All SwampCon coordinators juggle these responsibilities on top of school, other extracurriculars, and work. If things come up that prevent your ability to participate in SwampCon, we understand. Please be open about your schedule and availability if you plan to join the SwampCon team, and we will do our best to make sure you can be accommodated as needed.
