When is SwampCon?
SwampCon: Pantheon will be held on March 25th and 26th.
Where is SwampCon?
SwampCon is hosted at the J. Wayne Reitz Student Union. Its address is: University of Florida, 655 Reitz Union Drive, Campus, Gainesville, FL 32611.
If the con is free, why do I need to register?
Registration helps us report our attendance to UF’s Student Government. Our likelihood to secure funding is increased when more people attend, and registration gives us proof.
Where is registration?
On the Reitz Union Breezeway on the Ground floor right outside the Hotel front desk! You can pre-register on our EventBrite now. For more information please see our registration page through this link.
Are you in person? Are you online?
We are in person for 2023! We will have a Discord server to stay connected with the convention online and will be streaming our Main Events throughout the weekend! Special Events, Maid Café dances, and select panels will be uploaded to our YouTube channel at a later date.
Where can I buy SwampCon merchandise?

Am I required to wear a mask?
SwampCon is welcoming all attendees to wear a mask! For a full list of our Covid guidelines, click here.
What masks are best to wear?
KN95 or equivalent masks are recommended for the highest level of protection. Free surgical masks can be found at the Reitz Union at the Hotel front desk on the Ground floor and at the Information Desk on the 1st floor.
Where are the designated eating areas?
Our designated eating areas are on the 1st Floor of the Reitz Union or at an outside table. The only other exception is eating within the Rion Ballroom West during our Maid Café. Please respect this rule to be considerate to your fellow attendees as we work to keep SwampCon safe. The Reitz Union has numerous eating options on the Ground and 1st floor available, but we are asking for attendees to only eat within our designated eating areas. Attendees found eating elsewhere will be asked to move to a designated eating area.
Is the Maid Café serving food? Is it free?
Our Maid Café, like our convention, is 100% free! All guests will receive one free dessert and one drink.
I have the Maid Café Breakfast Special, where do I go?
On Sunday Morning you can head to the Rion Ballroom West at 10am. Late entry is allowed but the session ends promptly at 10:45am.
I have the Maid Café Breakfast Special or the Maid Arcade, can I still attendee a regular Maid Café session?
Absolutely!
Am I required to be vaccinated?
We highly encourage you to be fully vaccinated and boostered before attending SwampCon. We are asking for UF students to provide their “Cleared for Campus” status at registration. If you are not a UF student, you will not be asked to provide anything.
I have early access to an event, when can I get in?
Events typically open their doors 5-10 minutes before their designated start time. If you have an early access pass, you should be there at least 15 minutes prior to the event! If you show up to an event late, you will not be promised a seat at the event. VIPs have early access to all events.
I’m a panelist, how early can I get into my panel room?
Panelists will have access to their rooms as early as 1 hour prior to their panel. Some panels may go over time, but may not go over 15 minutes from their originally stated end time. If your panel is slated to end at 1:00pm, you can go until 1:15pm before the next panelist is allowed to ask you to leave so they may set-up.
What do I need as a panelist?
Panelists will need to bring a laptop with HDMI capabilities if they are presenting over our projectors in the panel rooms or have their panel present on a USB. Panelists are responsible for all items brought into the panel rooms. SwampCon is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged property brought into the panel rooms. Panelists are invited to record and/or stream their panel over Discord during the convention. Recorded panels can be later sent to SwampCon and uploaded to our YouTube channel.
I’m a performer with props, can I store my props somewhere during the convention?
SwampCon has a storage room available for our performers over the weekend. Items can be stored at early as 8am Saturday morning and kept overnight, all items must be picked up by 6pm Sunday. SwampCon is not responsible for theft or damage of items stored.
I’m lost/I have another question!
You can find a volunteer or staff member where a button or lanyard indicating them as such and ask them! Volunteers can be found on every floor of the Reitz Union, and there will always be someone stationed at the Information Desk on the 2nd floor. We have a help chat in our Discord as well, but response times may vary.
